Curiosità: The name “Madonna della cucina” derives from the fact that the painting was, in the past, exhibited in the former kitchen of the Palazzo dei Priori in Perugia. The painting was cleaned up during the 20th century, which gave it back its original colours. The work suffered a sudden interruption in an advanced stage of its realisation. It was unanimously agreed on it is a work of a later period in the artist’s life.
